§ 55-7. Care and maintenance of lots and graves.

Care and maintenance of lots and graves shall be in conformity with the following standards:

A.
All grading, landscaping work and improvements to lots and graves shall be under the direction of and subject to the approval of the Director.

B.
The installation of railings or copings is prohibited.

C.
The placing or installation of signs, boxes, shells, toys, metal designs, ornaments, chairs, settees, vases, wood or iron crosses and similar articles upon or within graves or lots is prohibited, and the Director may order the removal of any of said articles. Vigil lights are permitted, subject, however, to the owner's risk of damage or loss.

D.
Open or mounded graves are no longer permitted, and all graves throughout the cemetery shall be made and maintained level and seeded.
