§ 29-1. Merit Award Board established.

There is hereby established the Town of Hempstead Merit Board for the purpose of rewarding town employees for suggestions which result in a more efficient and economical operation of town government. Such Board shall consist of the Presiding Supervisor, the Supervisor and the Councilmen, members of the Town Board.
