§ 7-1. Designation of general election as special election; conduct thereof.

Whenever the Town Board shall direct that a proposition or propositions, authorized by the Town Law or the Municipal Home Rule Law to be submitted to a special election, shall be submitted at a general election to be conducted within the town and shall designate the general election as a special election for that purpose, such special election shall be conducted as in this chapter provided.
