§ 16-4. Approval by voters required.

This chapter shall become effective upon the approval of a majority of the votes cast by persons qualified to vote upon the proposition hereinafter set forth, which proposition shall be submitted to election at the 1966 general election within the Town of Hempstead, pursuant to Local Law No. 4 of 1966 of the Town of Hempstead, which election is hereby designated as a special election for such purpose, and upon the filing hereof in the office of the Secretary of State.
